It is a holiday home built in the '70s from the owner who was Onassis' lawyer. It is a special house which has character.
You can reach the house via 2 ways. Climbing 133 steps or via a motorized elevator which has a seat for 2 persons. Next to the gate is a covered garage for 1 car. Also from the road which goes to Gastouri village there is an access via a dirt road of 500 - 600 meters approximately and 3 meters width. This road is closed at the moment. If someone will buy the house the owner will clean this road with an excavator.
From this road you can enter the back of the house where you can park 3 cars.
The two storey house consists of the raised floor and the 1st floor.
On the ground floor is a spacious sitting/dining area with a fireplace, a study room, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
On this level is the separate kitchen and a bedroom with a shower and a wc for the stuff.
Internal wooden staircase leads up to the sleeping area where there is a master bedroom ensuite with the bathroom and a twin bedroom with a shower and a wc.
The sea views from the property are stunning and breathtaking.
In front of the house there is plenty of space for outdoor sitting and relaxing with friends enjoying the breeze which comes from the mountains.
The plot of land is full of olive trees and shrubs of Corfiot nature.
You can build a swimming pool if you want.
The house is in excellent condition and every year the owner spends 4 months in summer in it.
Of course it needs some renovation to become a modern and functional holiday home. Or you can leave it as it is.Crossing the road opposite of the property is a small gate which leads down to a small private beach.
As it concerns the noise the owner told me that she hears the airplanes especially the week from 8 until 15th of August but they don't bother her.
You can find everything you need in Benitses tourist resort which is just 5 minutes driving from the property.
